TWO BONE's
Two B-1B bombers (unofficially named the BONE by aircrew's) at the practice Air and Water Show on Friday. Seems the USAF sent both their primary and backup planes down the lakefront that day. Only one plane was flown during the Sat/Sun shows though

commented over 1 year agoAn excellent image and I would think a unique one. How often are two of these in one shot? I would say just about never.

commented over 1 year agoI have never seen this before Michael. Also not yet seen a two b-1b shot from this years airshow on CMC either. It was on Friday when hardly anyone was on the lakefront.

commented 7 months agoExcellent capture. I remember about 7 or 8 years ago one of them did a low (relatively) altitude pass from west to east. Of course since we all were looking out over the lake we didn't see it coming. It got over our heads and throttled up. Scared the daylights out of EVERYONE. Not one child on that beach wasn't crying. (Pretty cool still...)
