    Thanks Jack, it was the most bizarre scene with all these ice "feathers" on the frozen surface of the creek. The tricky part was metering, because there's such a wide gradient between the white crystals and black background, and they're so small to meter, and with slide film if you're overexposed, you lose detail.

    Thanks Tim and Sonnet. Hope to meet you both at the book thing. These feather like frost formations are apparently pretty rare Sonnet. Tough to get on film too because they are so white.
