Insalata Caprese
We made this a few weeks ago. Its super awesome, looks good, and is easy to make. This recipe is good for (1-2 people) All you need is: -1 Big tomato -1 Mozzarella ball -Fresh Basil -Salt -Pepper -Olive Oil
To prep, slice the tomato into 3-4 equal thickness slices. Do the same with the mozzarella ball. Once sliced, place a slice of tomato on the plate, add a few bail leaves, and top with a slice of mozzarella, add a few more basil leaves. On top of the cheese sprinkle on some salt and pepper.
Repeat steps with the remaining slices of tomato/cheese and basil. Once done stacking, add a sprig of basil to the top for garnish, drizzle some olive some oil over the top, and add another dash or two of salt and pepper. Thats it!

commented 11 months agoNice shot - looks good enough to eat! A little balsamic vinegar is good on caprese salad too. Give it a try.
