Turning Day Into Night - L Train "S" Curve - Chicago 2010
To achieve this long exposure during broad daylight, I used a 64x 1.8 neutral density filter, iso 100, and shot it at f16. This is an hdr with the longest exposure being 20 seconds. Pretty neat in bright light. This is the "s" curve in the Chicago "L" line by the Merchandise Mart in the loop.

commented 3 months agoWow! The train streaks are incredible, I've never seen anything like that in a broad daylight shot. The HDR is pretty intense. I'd love to see this a little less processed. Regardless, this is an incredible photo!
