Stormy Sunset
Another shot from the June 23 thunderstorm that ripped through Chicagoland. The sun broke through the clouds and offered up a brilliant and dramatic sunset. This is the tail end of the clouds from the thunderstorm. There was still plenty of action behind me when I shot this.

commented over 1 year agoI was out in that storm. I loved the beauty in it. Love this! I was rushed, only took a few shots, nothing good. Yours is really wonderful. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful that evening was. I saw lots of people outside snapping photos that probably were like mine. Everyone talked about it the next morning. This should go in the book for all of us who missed the shot or missed the storm.
