commented 5 months agoWhat a nice photo! I like it would look great in B&W with the lion statue only in color that way your eyes don't go to the street sign also...

commented 5 months agoMaureen thanks for the comment and suggestion. While I understand the reasons for doing selective color, I'm not a fan of it. My photography is more journalistic where I try to capture the moment as is, with little post alterations and photoshop gimmicks. To me the sign works in the image because it is appropriate for the season. 'Tis The Season To Visit' works for me and is a nice balance allowing the viewers eyes to go between it and the lion.
