commented 4 months agoI can never get the moon. How did you do that? lens?

commented 4 months agoHi John, thanks, yes it is hard to do. In this case I used snapseed an editing app on my ipad. I can select the moon alone and reduce the exposure until the detail shows through. But of course the rest of the exposure when taken is underexposed which then needs to be adjusted which I did in Lightroom on the PC. The other way i have done this in some of my other shots is to take two pictures and use the moon pic as a composite and add it to the photo using photoshop. Takes some editing for sure as the camera alone can't get it at least not that I have figured out.
