    We have one in our neighborhood, too, that does the same thing. It sits in a tall tree above several ground-level seed feeders and drops down when unwary customers arrive .... This is a fine shot :-)

    I have had several encounters with mom and youngster. This is her second year nesting in the neighborhood. This makes me want that 100-400 lens. thanks for your comments, David
