BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir
An amazing House of Worship in suburban Chicago. The outside stone is white limestone quarried in Turkey and sent to India for hand carving. It was then sent to the site and put together by hand like a 3d jigsaw puzzle.

commented almost 2 years agoWOW!! This is a very nice shot! Wide angle lens, I presume?? Possibly HDR of NOT?? I have gone past this temple many times and have thought about photographing it. You have done an outstanding job of it for sure. I've heard thru the photography grapevine that you know Mike Baker? I know Mike very well too and he has been talking about photography this temple for two years. I need to check his portfolio and see if he has any shots of it.
