    Thanks. I only try to go to this place on overcast days to avoid sun bleeding into compositions. DOF is just f45 with a 75mm wide angle (like 25 in 35mm) Actually this might have been a 90 before I got the 75. The 90 goes to f64 You can also do a forward tilt of the front stand and that gives more DOF. That's why I shy away from new cameras, even though they have many advantages. I seem to lose that control over how I do things.

    Thanks Tim for both the compliment and the advice, and you're probably right, but I'm honestly really not worried about getting in the book all that much. Better for someone else to get that thrill, especially if it's their first time. Been published enough elsewhere. Honestly. Just nice to have a place to show your work with a lot more visitors than my regular website.
