commented over 1 year agoNever understood why there are not more roundabouts in the US, so much more efficient that stop signs. Now I gotta visit Des Plaines to drive around this guy! :-)

commented over 1 year agoYes,I agree,but irt does cause confusion!Here is a story,they were thinking of putting a runabout in Rockford,they had a news reporter, do a story on the one in DesPlaines,she went there & tried to drive around it with the camera guy & she was flustered & had to go around a couple times!LOL! I used to drive to work that way(for 20 yrs) I can do it with my eyes closed!

commented about 1 year agoAs a European I love roundabouts! They really are much more efficient than all these stop signs, as the traffic just flows continuously.
