commented over 1 year agoThey're having a grand opening of a new visitor center on August 14. They're working on making it into a National Wildlife Refuge called Hack-Ma-Tack.

commented over 1 year agoIt's always hard to remember just what these scenes looked life at the time. So I don't know if this one is dead on, or maybe underexposed and therefore saturated. Someone once told me though that the best image is not always the correctly exposed one

commented over 1 year agoThanks again. I remember the dialogue from some Western movie, where a Native American says, "Only the mountains last forever". Even that's not really true, but a lot of these trees are starting to collapse into the creek, enough to ruin the "clean" look in many of the images I posted, like this one, and it reminds me of that comment.

commented over 1 year agothanks, but Mother Nature gets credit for that. Might be slightly underexposed and saturated because of that. Hard to know exactly what they looked like that moment.
