The Abandoned Sanctuary
This image was captured in the main sanctuary of the Abandoned City Methodist Church in Gary Indiana.
This place is full of old, burnt and deteriorating scenes in a place that was once a thriving center for worship, schooling and entertainment.

commented over 1 year agoThanks everyone! It is very sad. It's amazing walking through this place and seeing the decay of what used to be a beatufily built and furnished place of worship. I always wonder what it would have been like to walk through this place while in it's prime.

commented over 1 year agoThat's impressive. I have a shot from my old church that I had to take with slow film, slow shutter speed and basically no light, but it means something to me. I know how you feel.
