Taken from the Dan Ryan . This is how Chicago looked today. One handed shot through the windshield while driving in slow moving traffic. :)

    Just Another Skyline Shot

This wide angle long exposure shot was taken from the the balcony at the Adler Planetarium with the sundial in the foreground. That object in the crescent shadow of the sundial is the man with the best seat in the house. Except for the Lake Point Tower, pretty much all of Chicago's famous skyscrapers are there including the One Museum Park building on the left and The Shedd Aquarium (low building with blue dome) just below it.

    Best Seat In The House

This guy sat on that spot the whole time I was there, just admiring that breathtaking Chicago skyline view. And I was there over an hour. The perfect model for long exposure shots. That by the way is the iconic sundial by the Adler Planetarium. Next time I go there, I'm bringing a chair, too.

  • North & Beyond by Romeo Banias

    North & Beyond

I took this from the Hancock Observatory after the Air show was finished. The little dots along the water are part of the estimated 1.5 million spectators that headed to the lakefront for 2 days in August to witness the show. The buildings are residential condos that line Lake Shore Drive. Somewhere on the horizon is probably Wisconsin.
