Silent Night of the Living Dead Santas
Stumbled upon a group of a few hundred folks dressed as Santas. They were part of a bar crawl named SantaCon. In between bar stops they would hit a landmark and spread some good cheer and sing songs. I was at the Bean and caught them as they arrived just as dusk fell. It looked a bit creepy and fun all at once.

Walnut Room Great Tree
Every year for Christmas the Walnut Room displays their Great Tree. It's been a Chicago tradition for 104 years. I remember coming downtown to see the Marshall Fields Windows and then lunch under the tree when I was a child.
