Ray of Faith.
Taken during a visit to the Bahai' House of Worship in Wilmette. It was dusk time. I liked the little beam of light illuminating a portion of the intricate work. The Sun was on the other side of the building and that light was coming through another window on that side.

Warmth
Barista at the Intelligentsia cafe on Broadway. I had a cappucino made with their honey badger coffee. Simply outstanding. This gentleman was also very kind in explaining the percolation process.

Week before New Year
Window of the "Lao Sze Chuan" restaurant in Chinatown. I have no idea what the chinese text says. But the lights and colour, I thought , looked festive. The gentleman who was the host also did a mini celebratory dance for us - a week before New Year special

Elegance under Pressure
This was at the Medieval times dinner and tournament event. I had already had a bit of an argument with the 'knight' at the door who insisted that I should wear one of those hideous 'crowns' and it took a while for him to get that "No" means "keep that thing off my head". Anyway, while walking around before the show I saw this group of elegant older ladies who were obviously enjoying themselves. I saw this one lady who had blended the paper crown with her hat very nicely! Elegance under pressure! I was impressed!

The Wait
Addison EL Station.
Taken from a car looking up as we were driving under the overpass. This is not an original idea. I have seen something very similar at the Chicago Photography Center and wanted to try it out. Yes. I have darkened the shadows quite a bit!
