Me and "Beans" the dairy calf
I'm in the Vet Tech program at Joliet Junior College which trains students to become animal nurses. Part of the curriculum is learning about and working with farm animals like this dairy calf named "Beans". Chicago area farmers are nice enough to allow us students to practice on their animals.

One of many dogs in the Chicago area who waits at a shelter to be adopted. Please consider adopting your next pet. There are many dogs and cats, young and old, of pure or mixed breed waiting for homes.
