The sky turned dark and made all of the fall colors pop at The Morton Arboretum one fine October day.
Sun setting on Lake Marmo
Just when we were about to call it a day, the sun popped out from behind the clouds and briefly lit up the trees on the far side of the lake.
My favorite lens
Fallen leaves on the ground at the Morton Arboretum. My Canon 70-200 is on the other end of the shot for a change.
There were so many beautiful glass pumpkins on display and for sale at the Glass Pumpkin Patch at the Morton Arboretum a few weeks ago. It was hard to pick which photo to submit. Each artist had their own patch on display and they were all so gorgeous. Lots of very talented artists.

Standoff in a tree
A red tailed hawk and a squirrel in a tree at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. The hawk followed the squirrels to the tree but eventually gave up and went after something else for lunch. This little game went on for a few minutes, it was fun to watch.

When I got off the train after work in Crystal Lake, I noticed the beautiful orange splashing across the sky. I hurried to get to a place where I could capture the colorful sunset and got to the LITH Airport a few minutes late.
