Fledge-Day, Mourning Dove Family Portrait

These are the nesting Mourning Dove chicks I introduced in photo #237243. In this frame, mom and dad Doves in the foreground spent the day urging their offspring (seen between the two adults) to fledge, fly for the first time. The young ones were hungry. If they were to eat, they had to join the adults in the pine tree across the driveway. By the end of the day, we were able to use our dumpster again .... Yea! :-D
